Michael Adebayo popularly known as Ruger is a Nigerian fast-rising Afrobeat artist who has been formally announced as one of the newest recruits to the JONZING WORLD family, which is controlled by Don Jazzy’s brother D’Prince. He was born in the state of Lagos in the year 1999. He is a Nigerian singer with a professional career. He has written a number of songs, including Bounce, Bow, Ruger, Abu Dhabi, Yekpa, and others.
He is a native of Lagos, Nigeria’s most populous state. He grew up in an Adebayo household that was both humble and prestigious. As a teenager, the young singer joined his church’s choir as a vocalist. Over time, he honed his skills as a musician and began writing songs. He plays in school events and local concerts in Lagos while growing up. He comes from a family who has music running through their veins. He is highly gifted and has wonderful vocals for great compositions. Ruger had a profound love for music since he was in secondary school.
The singer is an incredibly talented artist, has been continually honing his musical abilities. He had released a few songs as an unsigned musician, but it wasn’t until one of his songs caught the notice of Don Jazzy’s brother, D’Prince, that he was signed. D’Prince, a great manager and top musician, was so taken with his song that he chose to sign him to his record company, “D’Prince Jonzing World Records.”
Ruger is the second artist D’Prince has signed in the span of two years, following Rema, who is co-signed to Mavin Records, which is owned by Don Jazzy. Ruger was given an apartment and a fancy car after signing with this record business. Ruger is managed by Jonzing World, a record label that collaborates with Sony Music West Africa and Columbia Records. D’Prince and Rema were featured on his debut collaboration production, “One Shirt.” Ruger is now rapidly expanding and establishing a strong presence in the music industry.
